Free-scores.com calls itself the Sheet Music World Center.  It features free Adobe pdf files of sheet music for a wide variety of instruments.  Music is available in a many difficulties and styles.

Highlights:

• Music is free for downloading and no extra player or viewer is needed to print files
• Music is easy to search in a variety of different ways
• Directory contains links to other websites that also offer free sheet music
• New music is continually being added

Weaknesses:

• Easy to get sidetracked, since there are also lots of links to their music store and other advertising
• Not all songs have mp3 recordings, so you don’t always know what the music sounds like
