Thanks for your interest in Baylor Music.
What is expected at the Baylor Music Studio?
A parent should plan to attend each lesson, observe, and take notes.
Students are encouraged to arrive 5 minutes before their lesson time, enter quietly, and observe the previous lesson.
Students should practice a minimum of four days each week with parent help. Five or even six days is even better!
Recordings will be made available as often as possible for working pieces. Parents and students should work together to listen to available recordings on a daily basis.
Tuition is divided into 9 payments, due at the 1st lesson each month.
Lessons should be cancelled with at least 24 hours notice. Makeup lessons are difficult to schedule and will only be offered if a time slot is available within the normally scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday times.
One Student $70/month
Two Students $130/month
Three Students $180/month
Each student will also pay a studio fee of $30 for the year, which covers the cost of lesson materials, borrowed music, and recital supplies.
Tuition is due at the first lesson each month. Additional music books and other materials can be purchased as needed from the teacher. The cost will be added onto the next month’s tuition. (Estimated yearly cost for music is $20-30)
